"Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day ... " - Trump

Brent crude, the global benchmark, rose 0.7% to $110 USA Dollars. US crude rose 1.3% to $113.

In Canada, Toronto on April 6, 2026 has average price of 185.9 CAD cent(s)/litre at local gas stations.

Toronto: Canada: Past Months:

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH!” Trump posted to Truth Social on Sunday morning (at about 8:00am).

Trump had issued a similar two-day ultimatum to Iran on March 21, only to extend the deadline to April 6.

The threat is a stark contrast to Trump’s claims last week that the USA did not need the Strait of Hormuz.
