Construction: Toronto: Leslie and Nymark

In Toronto at Leslie St and Nymark Ave, there is lots of construction going on. This area is close to North York General Hospital, the Don River, Canadian Tire and IKEA. Scala Condos is a new condominium development currently in pre-construction at Leslie Street near Nymark Avenue in Toronto, Ontario by Tridel in the Bayview Village community.  It is a proposed luxury "condo-community set against a naturally lush ravine setting" consisting of a 3 to 18 storey building wing that is situated along the south edge of the development site and is connected to a 4 to 11 storey building wing along Leslie Street designed by Wallman Architects priced from the $300,000's to over $1.5 million.       It's an interesting read about Canada’s Best Places to Live.

      Oakville sure sounds expensive.

      Oakville is sure a beautiful lakefront city with beautiful surroundings and numerous luxury homes. It's pretty amazing that 65 million lakefront luxury homes were listed in 2016. Oakville’s household income is 162,000 (pretty big), ranked 10th in the country, but the average residential price is 12 million, and home prices are 13th most expensive in the country.
