Canada: What’s the difference between F-35 and Gripen fighter jets?

With the future of Canada’s fighter jet fleet being re-examined, CBC’s Murray Brewster breaks down the differences between the American F-35 and Sweden’s Gripen.
I was reading that CBC piece comparing the F-35 and the Gripen and how much debate there is around big strategic choices, and it got me thinking about risk in general.
