Coronavirus COVID-19: Canadian cases surge as unemployment remains high


There are various reasons about what to blame for surging COVID-19 cases across Canada: slow action and complacency. A greater rise in cases could worsen the second wave.

Some experts think that it wouldn't take much to put Canada on a path towards the kinds of outcomes we're seeing in Belgium, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and many American states.

COVID-19 vaccines are expected to roll out in Canada in early 2021.
