The Animals of Canada - Reading AZ Level C

It is pretty interesting to learn the Animals of Canada. Have you ever wondered about what animals live in Canada...

English Reading AZ is informative. Thousands of Videos and eBooks are offered at 29 different levels from AA to Z2.

Canada is certainly best known for its mammals such as American bison, Arctic hare, badger, beaver, black bear, bobcat, little brown bat, Canada lynx, caribou, coyote, grizzly bears, wolf, red fox, lemming, meadow mice, moose, mountain lion, mule deer, musk ox, muskrat, polar bear, porcupine, prairie dog, pronghorn, raccoon, pinniped and more.

Here's an interesting fact: the beaver was given official status as an emblem of Canada when "An Act to provide for the recognition of the Beaver (Castor canadensis) as a symbol of the sovereignty of Canada" successfully received royal assent on March 24, 1975.
